Description
This course is for learners who wish to be able to understand more about fabrics such as fabric properties, the difference between knitted, bonded, and woven. We explore the differences between natural and synthetic fabric and their properties.
Understanding the different threads and machine needles available for sewing and their uses.
Provides useful fabric knowledge that can be used within a variety of job roles such as garment technician, quality control, retail, textile importers and suppliers.
Build up a portfolio of knowledge to help you on your sewing journey.
It is a great additional short course that will help you to be able to understand what fabrics you need for projects as well as identifying different fabric types. The information within this course can help you on your journey through our qualification courses, both Level 1 and 2.
